THANK YOU FOR BEING LATE

My thirty second book for this year and probably my last one that I'm reading is 'Thank You for Being Late' by one of my favourite author, Thomas L.Friedman. His previous book 'The World is Flat', written more than 10 years ago still having an impact on me especially during my early years while trying to understand the concept of globalization.

This book actually is not disappointing as well. The author in a positive note tries to emphasize the importance of doing reflections in our age of accelerations. This book is a reminiscent of human beings achievement from technology point of view based on Moore's Law, understanding mother nature via climate change and biodiversity loss; and how both will influence the market through globalization.

Definitely, we should be able to comprehend how those 3 planet largest forces will shape our world in the future by discerning how transformation of five key realms; workplace, politics, geopolitics, ethics and community will take place in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. In order to cushion its negative impact we should learn to have greater adaptability and start having dynamic stability in the kind of 'riding a bicycle'. We should keep on moving in order to stay stable and pause from time to time to reflect on its dangers and opportunities.
