Another brilliant book by my favourite author. He describes Lindy Effect as a technology, idea, corporation, or anything non perishable that has increase in life expectancy with additional day of survival.
He also describes the Intellectual Yet Idiot (IYI) as a product of modernity who pathologizes others for doing things he doesn’t understand without ever realizing it is his understanding that may be limited. These IYIs are mostly academics, specialists and bureaucrats.
