This is a true story of a Mormon girl, born to a father who most likely having paranoid delusion causing him against federal government, public education and modern medicine. Therefore she never attended school, did not have medical records or birth certificate. She pursued her education from degree to PhD by self learning. She was awarded a PhD in intellectual history by Cambridge University in 2014. Truly an inspiring memoir. This is the power of education.
