Meeting between Diabetes Malaysia Kedah and Kedah Lions Club has been held on 23rd June 2019 at Seri Malaysia Hotel, Alor Setar. Our collaboration have secured a diabetes grant worth of USD 10 thousand dollars from the Lions Club International Foundation in Chicago for the purpose of organizing Kedah Diabetes Awareness Program that will kick off in August 2019. My suggestion for the program tagline : ‘One Drop For Change’ or in Bahasa Malaysia, ‘Setitis Darah Mengubah Jiwa’, meaning by giving one drop of blood to know your blood glucose level, it can change your life. We are targeting of screening 5000 participants involving all 11 districts in Kedah state.
