A COMPASSIONATE DOCTOR

During one fine Saturday morning jog, I've accidentally met my first ever supervising medical officer, Mr Abu Yamin. He is now an eminent cardiothoracic surgeon in Penang General Hospital. He drilled me for the first 4 months of my housemanship life during surgical posting. Even though, you would feel stressed out and nearly depressed at that moment, but now you will realise it's very rewarding and worthwhile. Apart from sharing knowledge, he showed me on how to become a compassionate doctor with high ethical standards. It's a privilege having the experience to work alongside this great man. He is among the best doctor I've ever worked with. I forgot to tell him that my handwriting is still hideous.
